Sofita Photography is a wedding photographer based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. I follow a simple, photojournalistic style, capturing moments in a very relaxed way without depending on structured poses. I like establishing a great rapport with all my clients and I love interacting with people (I am a proper people person). I welcome new ideas and will strive to translate your vision into stunning imagery. I cover all wedding-related functions and I am happy to travel. Services offered
I offer two main packages for ease of reading, however I am more than happy to create a bespoke package to suit you, after all it is your special day. I currently offer £1500 for a full day (8 hours) and £1000 for half a day (5 hours). If you would like a bespoke quote, please send me a message and we can work something out together.

What does the wedding package include?
I offer a range of different wedding packages, from full day, half day or even customised packages to suit you. Please pop me a message for more info. & don't forget to check my current deals!!
How far in advance should I contact you?
If your wedding is fast approaching and you need a photographer, please pop me a message as I might be free! I am also taking bookings for 2024 and 2025 now!
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, i travel all over, places further afield will incur a travel fee in addition to the photography fee. This is worked out upon booking with me
What is the charge for travelling?
Past 20 miles of my home address in Hampshire incurs a petrol charge and if very far a hotel cost

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
Documentary. I enjoy capturing moments in a relaxed manner as opposed to overly structured and posed images. My goal is to deliver authentic images that portray genuine expressions and candid moments
What kind of equipment do you use?
Canon - I have four cameras; x2 R6, 5DMkiii and a Canon 6D, I bring all to weddings. I edit photos on Adobe Lightroom - photoshop also if needed
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, you receive a link to your images, you can download, share, print until your heart is content. There is no additional fees for your images and I do not limit the amount you receive either
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

It's just me and my camera, I'm not overly obtrusive and don't take up your time turning you this and that way. I allow you to enjoy your day whilst I do all the hard work not missing a moment

Such an amazing photographer!
Sophie was absolutely wonderful! She made us feel so relaxed on the day and followed our ideas and plan perfectly without us having to worry.
We got the preview really quickly and it was lovely to see the photos, we got our full album a few weeks later and Sophie's communication was great throughout. The photos are beautiful and I am so glad we chose her to capture our day.

Amazing photographer
Soph was such an amazing photographer for our wedding day, she made me and Ben feel so comfortable and got the most amazing photos, we are so happy with them, would 100% recommend, she replies quickly and was just generally lovely.

The Best Photographer
Soph was fantastic from the first moment we started interacting, we had a very special request that required her to meet our dogs before the wedding. She was so forth coming and happy to meet them. On the day she made us and all our friends and family feel so comfortable, our photos are so beautiful and nautral she captured our day beautifully and in such a lovely way that documented the whole day. I can't recommend Soph more, she has such a lovely manner about her and it feels like your friend is taking your photos but keeping it still very professional. 1000 % would recommend!

Vow Renewal
We booked Soph to photograph our 10year vow renewal. She immediately made us feel relaxed and comfortable around the camera and captured some incredible natural shots of our family and friends. We really valued having Soph there to capture moments we would otherwise have missed and also wanted our guests to enjoy being present with us and not feeling the need to have phones out. She got the photos ready for us in good time and we are really grateful for the time and effort she went to in order to get us such a beautiful range of photos that we can treasure. Soph captured our wedding in such a beautiful way! We wanted in the moment natural photos and staged photos and Soph got such a perfect balance. We absolutely love our photos, so much so we booked Soph again to do a baby shoot with our son! She is so friendly and nothing is too much to ask. Would highly recommend x
