About Macleod Paul Photography

Located in Redruth, Macleod Paul Photography is also open to travelling around Cornwall, the south west and beyond to provide his services. This business only photographs a limited amount of nuptials each year so the sooner couples get in touch with them, the better. They use professional grade cameras along with back ups as well as portable studio lighting if desired.

Services offered

They offer their photography services for pre wedding events as well as for the special occasion itself. High resolution photos can be received in full or digital albums. In addition, they provide a password protected gallery online where couples can view the images.

How they work

They utilize photo journalistic and reportage styles with little posing but there is the option to request some traditional style shots as well. The goal is to blend and fit in seemlessly into the environment in order to capture the happy and loving moments as they occur.

A very approachable and professional photographer, we have never felt comfortable having photos taken but Colin made us feel amazing. I would recommend Macleod Paul Photography to everyone. Our guests all loved him!

    Macleod Paul Photography's reply:

Thank you Wendy and thank you Steve. I'm glad you felt amazing and relaxed having your pictures taken -even if there were a few hundred tourists watching at Charlestown harbour!

I found Macleod Paul Photography on Facebook and contacted him along with a few others asking for a quote for our wedding. Colin contacted me by phone and spent nearly an hour on the phone to me chatting about myself, my fiancée and our family. He gave me lots of useful tips, and was so friendly I felt like I'd known him for years.
We decided to hire him after receiving a very competitive quote, and moved forwards with our plans.
Colin stayed in contact with us throughout, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
As we lived at the other end of the country we met up with Colin one weekend while on holiday in Cornwall. Again nothing was too much trouble and he shared photos from other weddings with us and asked about our family members.
On the day, Colin and his colleague Jay were amazing! - They were so friendly, supportive, and helpful; I couldn't speak highly enough of them.
We got married underground in a cave, so lighting wasn't easy, but nothing fazed them. It rained all day, and was as dark outside as it was in, but again, it was all so much fun.
All the guests commented on both Colin and Jay saying how friendly they were and such good photographers. They spent time talking with people who wanted to speak to them, and not to the ones who didn't. They coped very well with our little ones, (who know how to be cheeky little monsters at the best of times!)
After the wedding Colin met us 5 days later and delivered our photos in person.
    They were amazing!
All weddings are memorable, but we have some fantastic photos thanks to a really lovely photographer.

Wow, thank you both for those lovely words! You, your family and friends made us feel very welcome -it was a delight to share your big day and the 'cheeky little monsters' were no trouble!
