Jon Foley Photography is based in Batley, West Yorkshire, specialising in weddings and other events. Owner and founder Jon started his professional career as a photographer in 1987. He combines his talents and creativity with his intense passion for capturing genuine emotion on film. Jon is ready to step in and direct group shots and facilitate portraits, but otherwise, he works discreetly in the background, documenting the day as it unfolds. He will put you at your complete ease so that he can take the most poignant and authentic photographs that you could imagine possible.
Services Offered
Based on his vast experience, Jon is able to craft a range of exciting wedding photography packages. Each package includes a full day of coverage, unlimited edited images, USB or CD with permission to print, an online viewing gallery, and wedding and parent albums. The services of a second photographer can be availed of to ensure that every second of the wedding is captured. No wedding day is ever over once you have pictures to remember it by.

My packages include the time spent covering the wedding plus fully edited images which are provided as high resolution jpeg files on a USB plus online gallery

What is the charge for travelling?
I do not charge for travelling within a 1 hour radius. Any charges after that would be reasonable based on the distance, ease of travel and which package is chosen

I stand back and let the event unfold around me. capturing the emotions through-out the day, taking in a mixture of candid reportage-style wedding photography and formal group shots

All my equipment is updated regularly and I only use the best professional graded cameras & lenses
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, all edited images are displayed on a personal online gallery for you to share with family and friends, with various options for ordering prints and downloading digital files

Beautifully captured the most incredible day
Jon and his colleague Sarah were superb. Right from our initial enquiry the service was quick, friendly and helpful. We paid for two photographers for the whole day, Sarah joined the groom's party whilst we were getting ready and Jon was with the bride. They both kept my nerves in check and were so incredibly patient with our massively overrunning schedule! The pictures are a lovely mix of formal staged shots and natural candid shots which really captured the day perfectly. The bride's father was so impressed that he's booked Jon for the bride's sister's wedding too!

So good we booked him twice.
Jon was the photographer for my sisters wedding and we liked him so much I booked him a month later for mine.
Jon is easy going, friendly and approachable. He manages, to my disbelief to take the most gorgeous photos in situations that I wouldn't imagine you could take nice photos. He's always there but never in the way and gets to his job calmly and professionally. In the church he snuck around getting into the right positions in a way that neither I (nor my very strict vicar) noticed.
I would recommend Jon to everyone because of the quality of the photos as well. There are some amazing shots of me and my husband that make even us look stunning. He got my favourite candid moment on camera and for that I will forever be greatful.
I also have to get married again in a few months in the Catholic Church and wouldn't hesitate to book Jon again for that or any other events in the family.

Brilliant photographer - would definitely recommend
Great service, very professional but friendly and approachable too. Worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. We were delighted with the photos, and loved the way he managed to capture our day perfectly.

Excellent and accommodating photographer!
Jon was a God-send at our wedding; from our first contact to the big day itself he made sure we knew exactly what we wanted, gave some great professional advice on setups to complement the venue and lighting conditions, and performed his role efficiently. Always in the right place for the perfect shot, but never noticed, or in the way of proceedings.
We would recommend Jon to anyone looking for a helpful, friendly, knowledgable and talented photographer for their big day!

Excellent photographer
Excellent, professional photographer; made everyone feel at ease. Jon is amazing, he even convinced my 15 year old niece, who hates having her photo taken, to have some done! Patience of a saint.
