I booked Gemma very early into my wedding planning journey, I had seen her work on Facebook & Instagram and knew I had to book her. After my first trial, I LOVED my makeup. Gemma listened to what I would like and created it perfectly. We both agreed that my skin needed some work before the wedding and Gemma was more than happy to offer her advice regarding skin care which I am so grateful! I booked a second trial 3 months later and my makeup looked perfect!
Gemma is so professional and efficent. She listens to what your preferences are and the look you are going for. She is also very knowledgeable and happy to offer her advice and suggestions should you require it!
I absolutely recommend Gemma for wedding makeup. Me, my bridesmaids, mum and mother in law all felt absolutley amazing and the makeup stayed on all day and night!

Gemma invests in your day as much as you do! She works amazingly well with other vendors on the day and only wants to see her bridal parties feeling a million dollars with a smile on their faces. She uses only the best products and her air brush make up is flawless and lasts all day. It has been 5 years since we got married ago and still think how lucky we were to have Gemma on board for our special day. I will forever be grateful for giving me that Vintage look to walk down the isle and feel amazing!

I had a wedding make up trial with Gemma, she was really lovely but there were a couple of things about my trial that I wasn’t too happy with. My foundation was really patchy and textured and there were also other parts which weren’t quite right such as the contour and highlight. Gemma acknowledged how bad the foundation looked when my make up was finished and I raised it as a concern. Gemma felt the issues were down to my skin texture (which isn’t that bad, I do have slightly textured skin but manage a much better finish on my make up when I apply it daily). I also felt that as a make up artist she should have done a better consultation and observation of my skin before applying foundation which was clearly very unsuitable for my skin. With some encouragement from myself and my bridesmaids after finishing she did take the forehead part off and apply another foundation which was slightly better but still not good. She did not offer to rectify the rest of the face. I paid the £55 trial fee and she went home. An hour after she left the make up had separated on my cheeks and got patchy and cakey. About 6 hours later it had mostly gone. Due to this bad experience and all the issues, I emailed Gemma kindly explaining that I no longer wanted her to do my wedding make up due to the finish and the fact it never lasted. I was happy for her to keep the £55 I paid for the trial but requested the £38 deposit back. Gemma refused to give me any money back. My advice would be to have a trial before paying any deposit. Although I feel her terms are flawed, you can not secure a date before paying the deposit, however if you wait to have a trial first you risk losing the date as it is not secured. Gemma refused to acknowledge this was an issue with her terms and conditions. Overall, feel Gemma was unfair, unreasonable and unapologetic.

I would highly recommend Gemma. My trial was amazing and she made me look and feel like a princess. Gemma is punctual, professional and extremely good at what she does, she even squeezed my mum's makeup in on the day. Thank you Gemma for everything.

I would defiantly recommend Gemma, she is very professional and enthusiastic about what she does. Gemma did my make up for my wedding and it was just perfect and lasted the whole day; in fact, it was still intact the next morning as I fell asleep with it still on. I would also recommend a trial if you're like me and not too sure about what you want. Gemma explained all the different types and techniques there is so I managed to get my perfect look.
