We used SJR cars for our wedding in August 2019. Unfortunately the driver went to the wrong destination, and then became very flustered when trying to correct the mistake, making the experience a stressful one for bride and father of the bride. Sadly this ruined the experience for them. We were not contacted by the company afterwards to apologise, and then after our initial email they did not call back after telling us they would look into the matter. They were polite whenever we did speak to them, and clearly from other reviews they often provide a better service than this, but this was a very frustrating experience for us, both on the day and afterwards.

It would be very unprofessional of me to attempt to enter into a lengthy discussion as to why your wife contacted me before I got back to you but as you know it was all explained to her.
Indeed our driver did go to the wrong destination, he went to Sherborne castle instead of Sherborne abbey, when he realised his mistake he set out on the 5 minute journey to the abbey, AA routemaster timing. Unfortunately the journey was delayed by a train causing the barriers to close as it passed. My driver has worked for me for over ten years now and this is the first instance of anyone showing any dissatisfaction with him and or our service.
We are very sorry for the delay and saddened that this delay, ‘ruined’ your experience.
We have apologised profusely and unfortunately there is no more we can do. From what your wife told me the onward journey to your reception, and every other aspect of the day went without a hitch.
We once again apologise publicly for the error and wish you both every happiness in your future life together.
