Pippa was a delight to work with and I can honestly say that of all of the suppliers I dealt with organising my daughter's wedding, Pippa gave us no problems or worries. She captured Victoria's fairytale wedding in her beautiful cake after only one consultation - amazing!

Until I met Pippa I didn’t even want a wedding cake! I went from no cake to a 4 tier delicious dream! The cake was the most tasty thing I had ever had and it was designed absolutely perfectly! Our guests couldn’t get enough and we are still eating it now! Each tier was more delicious than the last, we had - pumpkin spiced latte, raspberry and white chocolate, lemon and elderflower and strawberry and rose. So tasty!

We're grateful to Pippa for her advice and flexibility when designing the cakes for our summer garden party wedding. We had a gluten free chocolate cake, a white chocolate and raspberry cake and a lemon and elderflower cake - all were utterly perfect.

Pippa is a genius! No other word for it. Also one of the nicest people I've had the fortune to meet. Everything from the initial meeting, through tasting right up until the big day was excellent. The cake was stunning, never seen or tasted anything like it. It was a big hit with the guests and worth every penny. I cannot thank or recommend Pippa enough.

Our wedding was planned from abroad so all communications were either by email and telephone. Pippa took our ideas on board, did further research to get the colours as we wanted to match a Greek themed wedding with a marble effect icing, olive branches, hydrangeas and cream roses which matched my bouquet perfectly. The cake was delicious. I think it was too large for our party as sadly, not all the cake was eaten, maybe two layers not three for 60 people. Otherwise it was perfect and Pippa is extremely friendly and very professional, well deserving of her award.

We would highly recommend Sugar and Spiced Cakes! Pippa made us a 3 tier wedding cake, vegan cupcakes (as an alternative for our vegan guests), and cookies as wedding favours. Right from the start Pippa was so friendly and helpful. She sent out slices of cake in the post so we could do a tasting consultation via Zoom (Covid!) and we were immediately sold as they were all so delicious (we chose lemon, carrot and biscoff)! We got a design drawn up for us, and 3 designs for the cookie favours to choose from. Pippa managed to bring our vision to life with her creativity and skill and our wedding cake was so beautiful, as were the cookies! All our guests commented on how lovely the cake looked and how good it tasted - and the cookies went down a treat! Photos don't do it justice. Pippa always replied to our messages promptly, was very professional and friendly, and was a pleasure to work with. If you're looking for someone to make your wedding cake, look no further!

We first met Pippa from Sugar and Spiced at a wedding fair in 2019 before we booked our venue but held onto her details because of the delicious sample we tried. In 2020 we contacted her for a consultation, and we're blown away by the effort she puts in - a full afternoon tea! Afterwards, she sent us the design of our cake and it was clear she understood exactly what we wanted. Throughout the planning, she has been in contact offering us support when we were dealing with a huge amount of uncertainty and happily moved to our new date when we postponed. We received excellent service from Pippa, from the initial enquiry to the planning, quoting and delivery on the day. She provided us with clear information on the pricing structure and made sample cakes available to us despite all of the difficulties of lockdown. We wanted something a bit different and more personal and she certainly delivered by creating a really beautiful design. When we tasted the samples we had some difficulty in choosing one flavour as they were all so delicious! Would highly recommended to any couple.
