Facilities and capacity

Breckenhill has a licence for civil wedding marriages and civil partnerships celebrations. It can hold ceremonies from 5 to 80 people in the Stone Barn, (30 downstairs, 80 upstairs) or in the garden. For the reception they can seat 80 upstairs, up to 120 or so in the Green Barn and have up to around 150 evening guests. The ceremony can be held in any of the following spaces:

• Their upstairs room which can seat up to 80 people
• Downstairs in the stone-walled reception room which can hold up to 30 guests for the ceremony
• Outside in the garden
• In the Drawing Room of the nearby Georgian house, holding up to 25 people

Services offered

You will be free to decorate in the style of your choice and make the venue your own for the big day. They can also supply anything you may need: tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc.

Breckenhill has enough space for a marquee -should you wish to seat more people-, and even for bouncy castles and outdoor garden games. They can even offer an archery session to entertain your guests!

Cuisine

Hog roasts and BBQs are popular choices for catering at Breckenhill. They also have a well-equipped kitchen should you choose another catering service supplier. Even though they do not hold a bar licence, you are very welcome to bring your own, hire a bar service, or use a licensed caterer. Breckenhill has everything you would need to have your own professional bar and can hire staff.

Accommodation

Comfortable accommodation is offered at a nearby hotel, a pub with beautiful rooms, or a selection of graceful self-catering cottages with a spa, all within 10 minutes. There is also a lovely selection of other hotels near Belfast airport.
