Facilities and Capacity
Built in 1872 and boasting captivating views, The House offers a beautiful setting for your special day. Here, four licensed rooms are available for you to hold your ceremony. You will also have the additional option of The Summer House next to the croquet lawn, giving you plenty of options for your vow exchange. Though this space can easily accommodate large scale celebrations, it is just as ideal for intimate gatherings. The Parkland features 425-acres of mature trees and magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. This is a superb choice for those looking to host a marquee or tipi wedding. The Swiss Garden was designed and constructed during the 1820s. This elegant English country garden emanates a regal ambience and will transport you and your guests to a bygone era of glamour and luxury. You can choose to wed in The Swiss Cottage in the garden's centre. Alternatively, The Grotto & Fernery offer magical and intimate settings for your big day. The Collection's Hangar 3 has a backdrop of historical Shuttleworth exhibits with large open doors perfect for those summer days.

Georgia helped us to make our wedding vision a reality and was so attentive on the day. She coordinated with vendors so that allowed by bridal team, mother and me a chance to relax whilst getting ready.

Magical winter wedding
I will never forget the first moment we saw the house as we approached in our car, from that very moment we knew this was our perfect wedding venue.
Myself and my now husband wanted a grand stately home where we could celebrate a black-tie winter wedding with our loved ones.
We visited around 18 months before and met the weddings manager Georgia who showed us around the house and grounds.
The house is one of the last few stately homes to celebrate its beautiful heritage. The ballroom and morning room are particularly beautiful. We knew it was perfect so we booked that week!
The beauty of Shuttleworth is there are so many options. We had a winter wedding and had a Gatsby style vision so used the house but the grounds are equally as beautiful and would be perfect for a summer wedding.
Fast forward 18 months and lots of planning (Georgia was phenomenal and kept in contact throughout) and our special day arrived.
Magical, we had the best day.
Georgia and her team we cannot thank you enough. Everything ran smoothly, our guests absolutely loved the venue and the service provided. Our Shuttleworth recommended catering company Portfolio Events were also outstanding and provided the best food.

Fairytale wedding
Georgia French was more than helpful and accommodating with every enquiry we had from start to finish.
On the day, staff did their best to make every wish come true with an organised and professional approach.
We were lucky enough to have the weather on our side for our big day and held our ceremony outdoors at the summer house. It was truly a dream come true and more beautiful than we could have imagined.
