About Dode Village
Truly one of the most unique exclusive-use, lovingly restored wedding venues in the country, Dode Village has won plenty accolades since appearing as the "Dream Venue" on BBC Televisions Don't Tell The Bride. In a secluded and almost secret part of the North Downs the 11th century Norman church has had an exceptionally interesting past and a very serene and magical present. The venue is available for anniversaries and birthday parties, blessings, christening and baby naming ceremonies, family gatherings, and funerals.
Facilities and capacity
The venue is available for besome weddings, civil wedding ceremonies, humanist ceremonies, pagan hand fasting ceremonies, partnerships, renewal of vows, rites of passage, second marriages, wedding breakfasts, and wedding receptions. The Lost Village of Dode was up until recently a deserted place, forgotten by time. But since its recent revival, it has returned to the peak of its appeal as a beautiful wedding venue that can accommodate up to 40 guests.
Simplicity and tradition are everywhere here. That includes the down to earth cuisine that you will be offered. Spit roasts of hog, lamb and chicken are particularly in demand and complement the atmosphere beautifully. This is something wonderfully honest, genuine and sincerely about Dode Village.

From the moment we found Dode, the team made every step of the way smooth and a pleasure. We felt important to them and part of a very special place. Even a random dramatic thunder storm did not spoil things. Our guests are still talking about the day being the best wedding they had ever been to.
