About The Curdridge Reading Room
Built in 1884, Curdridge Reading Room is very much at the heart of Curdridge village community who have very graciously opened this charming venue for the celebration of weddings. With the adjoining Skinner Field, you have acres of space in which to take beautiful photos with the Hampshire as a backdrop. The reading room has lovely high ceilings and wonderful acoustics
Facilities and capacity
The Main Hall can seat 60-80 people for a full banquet or 100 for an evening reception. It boasts of a wonderful stage for live music, sound system and lighting. The Billiard Room is for intimate weddings of about 20 people. For bigger celebrations, it is often used with the Main Hall as an additional space. On the grounds there is ample space to erect a marquee in the car park or using one of the two fields.
Services offered
Spaces have fully equipped kitchens to allow for a catering company to prepare food with ease with all of the utensils and crockery provided for 110 guests. The venue is fully licenced for serving alcoholic beverages and the performance of live bands.
