Creeksea Place in Essex is an outstanding Tudor mansion with immaculately maintained grounds and gardens. Dating back to the 16th century, it has featured in film and TV being very popular for its unique features including walled garden, orchard, lawns and lakes. It has kept so many original features that many of its rooms have been left unrestored so you get the authentic feeling of another age.
Facilities and capacity
Civil ceremonies can be held in any of their six licensed spaces, such as the majestic walled garden and the marble gazebo in the orchard. Drinks receptions can be given in the garden or on the lawn with fantastic views of the manor house, Victorian bridge and lake. Wedding receptions can be arranged in their elegant silk marquee with capacity for up to 200 guests or more with manor views. At night, the venue is splendidly lit up with candles and torches. More intimate celebrations can be held in the Regency Room.
