Facilities and capacity
For ceremonies of up to 12 people, they have their isolated Spring Cottage located on the banks of the River Thames, with graceful gardens and impressive architecture. For ceremonies of up to 60 guests, there is a choice of rooms: the romantic French Dining Room, Boudoir, Lady Astor Suite, and Mountbatten suite. You can have exclusive use of the mansion for up to 120 guests.
This venue offers soon-to-be-married couples three wedding packages to choose from depending on the number of guests you will have or you can create your dream wedding through its bespoke option. These packages include a midweek menu tasting for the bride and groom, private dining room for your 3-course wedding breakfast, two reception drinks per guest, personalised place cards, table plan and menus, overnight stay in the bridal suite with chilled champagne, roses and rose petals.
The food, the wine and the service provide a feeling that will impress in equal measure. They pride themselves on their individual service, and can personalise a bespoke wedding breakfast to suit any need you or your guests might have and it will all be created by award-winning chef André Garrett.
The accommodation provided by this venue include tasteful furnishings and unique antiques. Each of its 48 rooms is named after a past renowned guest, from Churchill to Chaplin, from Astor to Orkney, from Sutherland to the Prince of Wales. These rooms have received a stylish restoration in a traditional style making the most of the historical approach of the building, providing you and your guests with a luxurious stay.
Known as one of the great country houses in England, Cliveden was built by the second Duke of Buckingham back in 1666 in 376 acres of gorgeous grounds. Sir George Warrender rebuilt it after the fire in 1795, rescuing its former greatness and establishing its currently hospitality approach.
