A Grade I listed mansion, situated in Chelmsford, was originally built in around 1730, and is the home to the Tudor staircase moved from New Hall wich was owned by Henry VIII from 1517 to 1547. Boreham House is an ideal venue for all types of weddings, including Asian and Multi-cultural weddings. Fully licensed, Boreham House offers beautiful civil ceremony locations like Oak Room located in the main house, which can hold up to 105 guests, or the Glass Pavilion in the beautiful grounds that can hold 300 people. For a religious ceremony, the church in Boreham Village is perfect. The venue also welcomes same sex marriages.

Boreham House specialises in Asian and Multi-cultural weddings. The venue is available for exclusive hire and the suits - Henry VIII Suite (550 Theatre Style/350 Dining) and Glass Pavilion (600 Theatre Style/450 Dining) can be combined to accommodate grand events for up to 800 guests. In addition, Boreham House has a Bridal Dressing Room, Bridal Suite and eight luxurious bedrooms for up to 24 guests. The venue is also opposite a 80 Bedroom hotel, perfect for extended friends and family to stay close by.
