About Anstey Hall
Cambridge has few award winning wedding venues, but Anstey Hall happens to be one of them. This wonderfully preserved Victorian mansion is to be found lording over 10 acres of luscious garden, making it an outstanding setting for your big day with friends and family knowing that the house and grounds are yours in exclusivity and to take full advantage of.
Facilities and capacity
Anstey Hall is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies; however, couples wishing for a more traditional church wedding might like to consider the scenic church of Saints Mary and Michael, which is ideally located next to it. In addition, the gardens can be used throughout the wedding for photos, fun and drinks. The Grand Ball Room can hold up to 90 dining guests, and a further 200 seated guests can be accommodated in a large furnished marquee. The stately Reception Hall is an excellent area to welcome your guests upon their arrival. There is also the large panelled library and the conference room, both of which can be used as a retreat from the main wedding areas or as special function suites.
Their wedding manager and the rest of the professional staff will assist you through all the wedding planning process. Through their network of trusted suppliers they can source you the following services:
They also have a range of great wines and Champagnes at competitive rates. Once your after-dinner speeches have drawn to a close, wander downstairs to have fun in their fully licensed saloon bar, a former drawing room with views over the rear lawn, with oak panelling that has been gracefully renovated.
As your wedding celebrations are almost over, why not relax in one of Anstey's 22 en-suites? All their luxurious bedrooms come with their own special grace: from charming and traditional English to splendid Victorian class and contemporary elegance.
