From the very first enquiry email to checking out, Lazaat staff were helpful, prompt and friendly. The fabulous May, and staff went above and beyond to answer all my queries (no matter how detailed). Our wedding coordinator, Max, never stopped all day, making sure everyone and everything went smoothly. All the guests complimented the delicious food and generous portions. The beds are comfy and rooms lovely and clean. My only advice would be to have a full length mirror in the bridal suites. I can honestly say, my special day was everything I dreamed of and more. Thank you so much to everyone at Lazaats for helping making it truly wonderful.

I cannot believe how fast our special day went and how smoothly it ran thanks to Max. This venue is a beautiful and welcoming place to have a great event in. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing about it. The staff are so polite and friendly from viewing the venue all the way through to the actual night of our day. The beds are extremely comfy I had the best night sleep in a long time and cutely made up for the new married couple. Me and my husband had our wedding here in March 2024, and everything was absolutely amazing. From the very first day of putting your deposit, right up to the morning after our wedding, nothing was too much for the Lazaats team.
Our wedding co-ordinator, Max, was the best we could have asked for. He kept us up to date with every single step during the day, and made sure myself and my husband was keeping ourselves at a priority too!

The whole team at Lazaat were amazing from start to finish, so flexible and accommodating. They helped make our day extra special by allowing our dogs to be our ring bearers and our on the day co-ordinater Max was amazing in setting up a FaceTime call so that my unwell auntie could be part of our special day. The venue, food and staff were incredible and amazing quality. Max was our coordinator and nothing was too much trouble, he perfected every tiny detail and made sure the day was perfect from start to finish. I would 100% recommend Lazaat for any event to anyone.

My husband and I got married at this fantastic hotel (lazaats) couldn’t have asked for more everything was perfect thanks to the lovely staff.

We had our day 10th Sept 2023, and all we can say is that you guys made it amazing! Everything ran smoothly, and everything was discussed with us. Staff were prompt and polite, they checked in with us, and even let us know when they changed over from day staff to evening staff.
The venue was busy with another wedding as well, but they kept doors closed throughout our ceremony so as not to be disturbed. We also ended up running a little early, so after photos, our wedding breakfast was brought forwards without hesitation.
Our only fault, was no air con. We married on an unusually hot day, so the room was extremely hot. The staff made sure that the bride and groom had the use of their only floor fan. But even still, this did not hinder our day.

Wow, this venue is amazing, we have worked closely with them for over 15 years and the manager Simon, and his team are outstanding.
Each and everyone of them will go over and above to make your special day one to remember.

We had the most amazing wedding at the Lazaat. The team couldn't do enough for us, the food was beautiful (we had so many compliments from guests) and everything ran so smoothly. We had to rearrange twice due to covid but Simon made it so easy and stress free for us. Can't recomend them enough.

Had our wedding on Wednesday at lazaat and whee do I even begin.
Firstly we got a great value package so cannot complain about that. It even included the DJ.
We was going through uncertainty about our wedding due to covid 19. Not once did our venue contact us to reassure or speak to us. I wrote an email stating our concerns 3 weeks later no reply. Every time you ring you get ‘I’ll get someone to call you back’ they never do. In the end I chased and chased and Simon reluctantly rang me and without even listening to me said ‘I wouldn’t even bother worrying’ obviously my feelings and concerns where not important at that point so fair enough. Anyways no communication at all felt so in the dark and in limbo all the time. On the day I 5/6 times I said ‘but Simon said this was okay etc’ in which my reply I got was ‘Simon says alot’ so I had been massively mislead.
So the Tuesday before my wedding on the Wednesday I walked out of work excited at 5:30pm heading straight to lazaat. I pick my phone up and I have missed calls off all my guests.
Lazaats systems had gone down (not their fault I know) and everyone on of my guests rooms had been cancelled as they didn’t have a paper copy of booked names. When my guests tried to rebook they where saying they where fully booked. After a stress and a few tears I finally got it sorted. Two of my guests turned up and they couldn’t sort that didn’t apologise and left them stood there alone (I had no idea at this point) 50 miles away from home with no where to stay at night.
We went for breakfast the next day me and my two bridesmaids and he said he only had two on the list so that was a faf at 7:30am the morning I got married and the waiter wouldn’t leave the end of our table talking making us feel awkward while we was trying to eat. He was very friendly though.
They knew there was three of us in the room but had only stocked it with all the bits for two so they first half hour of arriving was gathering more supplies.
I met my wedding coordinator Paul when he finally come to my room 30 minutes before the ceremony I felt like I was more of a bother to him. You could see he didn’t really want to be there and even my guests picked up on it. They set the top table for 4 when it was for 5 and it took me to tell two people to get it sorted.
The meal was lovely. Fish cake was delicious so hats off to the chef. Plates cleared away quickly etc.
Speeches came and Paul insisted on introducing each person but kept going to the back of the room so we had to awkwardly sit there while he kept going backwards and forwards.
The DJ arrived. He was very shirty when I asked him to lighten the mood as he was playing quite low mood music. He was booked and paid for till 1am.
My mother was leaving at 12 so I asked the DJ to play our last dance so she could hear it but informed him the rest was staying. He played the song but then packed up and left. My guests pulled him up on it and he refused to continue stating he had done the last dance song now. Leaving me and my guests in silence so I had to go upstairs and get my speaker.
My guests asked the bar at 11:30 what time they closed. They said last orders 12:30 perfect. However when we all went up for a round at 12:04 we was informed the bar had shut.
The bar was extremely expensive. And had quite little choice but the beer was good.
Overall it was an awful experience. Lazaats caused quite a few tears on the run up to the day and on the actual day. Please don’t let them ruin your special day like they did mine.

Lazaats made our day run so smoothly, Max the Coordinator was amazing. The food was stunning, the bridal suite was so comfy with a large bath too! We are on cloud nine still and was made to feel so special. Thank you

The people we dealt with were nothing but helpful.
If I had any queries I sent over email, it was responded to quickly and we're always very helpful.
On the day of the wedding, our wedding co-ordinator was so lovely and helpful.
Beth and Max were so helpful and made our day as stress free as possible.
The wedding breakfast was lovely, our guests couldn't fault it and said it was great.
The DJ that was provided and checked things with ourselves and played some great tunes.

We had our wedding here in march 2024. All of the staff were very friendly and approachable. Nothing was ever too much to ask. All emails were responded to within 24 hours. From booking the date, to the wedding day itself there were no issues at all. The wedding day itself ran very smoothly and put us at ease from beginning to end. We had Paul as our wedding coordinator who was very friendly and advised us what was going to happen during the day, on the morning of the wedding. The food was spectacular, many of our guests were complimenting the food, and all dietary requirements were met without any issues. Would recommend this wedding venue to anyone!

Staff during the process was great. Paul on the day was outstanding, made the day smooth and took the hassle out of everything so we both coukd enjoy the day. Food was amazing with a nice little touch for us both.

The hotel is stunning from the grounds around the hotel to the rooms. The service is amazing the staff truly can not do enough for you from room services to helping you out to make your day run smoothly. No ask was too big or too small.
