The regal Gordon Castle boasts a rich history and a plethora of options for couples. It is located in the heart of Speyside in the Highlands of Scotland. The family-owned establishment dates back to the 15th century. Featuring a spacious landscape and luscious gardens, Gordon Castle combines its rich history with idyllic scenery. Couples and guests can learn about the venue's colourful history, while having fun at a modern event. And when it’s time to end the party, Gordon Castle also offers comfortable amenities that make guests feel at home.
Facilities and capacity
The Castle’s garden can accommodate up to 250 guests and is licensed for civil marriages. For those planning a more intimate event, the Castle’s various cottages can accommodate up to 18 wedding guests. The Gordon Family Church sits on beautiful landscaped gardens that is ran by an in-house coordinator. The church is decorated with stained glass windows with Reverend Frances Forshaw as the head priest.
The Castle also features a restored Century Tower that is six storeys and eighty-four feet tall. The Castle is finished with rich cornice and faux battlements, but marries a historical Scottish Highland Castle with modern accouchements.
Services offered
The Castle is made up of a dedicated staff who aim to deliver personal attention to guests. When using Gordon Castle for your wedding, the establishment is an exclusive hire. Additionally, in-house catering is available, but the staff can also recommend specialist caterers.
Accommodation
The Castle houses eight spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and king sized beds, a drawing room, a study, a billiard room and two large reception rooms. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are also available. The Gordon Castle is also equipped with rustic holiday cottages, which include the following:

Other facilities
The Castle can provide wedding breakfasts for up to 40 guests. Also available for guests is the Walled Garden Cafe. The Cafe offers coffee, homemade lunch, and high-tea. The restaurant sources Moray beef, lamb, pork, venison, poultry, and fresh Scottish seafood, all created by a resident gourmet chef.
Other services
Conference rooms are also available for conferences, meetings, and client entertainment, and film and television projects. The business is known as a world-renowned country sports estate and hosts the Gordon Castle Highland Games and Country Fair, which is a public event full of fun attractions. Salmon fishing is also a popular sport at Gordon Castle.
