Highcliffe Castle is one of the most important houses of the Romantic and Picturesque style of architecture from the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century left.
Built between 1831 and 1836, it's the realisation of one man’s fantasy: Lord Stuart de Rothesay, a distinguished diplomat who had known and loved the cliff-top site overlooking Christchurch Bay since he was a child.
Highcliffe Castle is situated within landscaped gardens overlooking Christchurch Bay and the Isle of Wight. Access to the grounds and beach make it an excellent place for woodland walks and outstanding viewpoints. Make them part of your day after or before the ceremony.

We booked Highcliffe Castle in October 2010 for our wedding on the 7th September 2012. Evne though we booked far in advance we were always able to speak to Donna the wedding co-ordinator and arange viewings. The castle were very accommodating to all our requests, and so helpful with all questions. We live in London so could only meet on the weekends, they were great at arranging time for us to meet up and discuss details, especially the last meeting a month before.Sent on 16/02/2013
