Perfect in summer, in the upper floor of the 15th century gatehouse, the Tenants Hall can seat an intimate 55 guests celebration illuminated by Tudor windows and chandeliers, which hang from its open timberwork roof. Next to a magnificent 17th century oak and elm staircase, the Inner and Outer Hall is licensed to seat up to 80 guests and offers a grand setting for winter and Christmas ceremonies.

There has been a castle at Dunster since Norman times, with a stunning medieval gateway, 15th century gatehouse and ruined tower, displaying a view of its storming history. Home to the Luttrell family for over six centuries, the current building was restored in the Victorian period by Anthony Salvin.
