Facilities and capacity
The Great Hall provides a warm space and a fabulous atmosphere for up to 100 guests to celebrate your love, relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Replete with stunning Elizabethan features and award winning gardens, this is the ideal back drop for wedding photos with spectacular views across the Wolds. For bigger celebrations, a marquee can be set up on the North Lawn.
You will be provided with all of the service you could possibly need from their excellent in-house caterers to a dedicated wedding organiser who will advise you on the use of the spaces at your disposal and is there with you every step of the way.
Burton Agness Hall was built between 1598 and 1610 by Sir Henry Griffith, and the family has lived there for more than four hundred years, making it fifteen generations that have filled the Hall with treasures, memories and the sound of newly married couple and their guests enjoying the most memorable of days.
Award winning gardens, over 4,000 different plant species, a maze, herbaceous borders and much more are at your disposal here. Everything about Burton Agnes Hall conspires to provide the perfect setting for timeless wedding photographs.
